Serving in Berlin

Tomorrow, I, along with six students and two other staff members, will be flying to Berlin, Germany in order to serve our missionaries, Cary and Lois Green. The team is composed of some great people and I am looking forward to spending two weeks with them. We depart at 1pm, so if you remember us, please pray that travel would go smoothly and that God would be glorified.

Updates: New Material!

I know I have been kind of quiet over here at Affectional Writ, but I have been working on some of the pages on this site.

  • About - I simply put a little blurb about the blog and about myself.
  • Music - I added some more music and have a new player that makes it easier for everybody. I hope you enjoy.
  • Sermons - This page I’m really excited about. It is a compiled list of links to download John MacArthur sermons that he preached at The Master’s College from 1987 -2000. There are some great treasures in there. Check them out.

Enjoy!

I Love Jesus Christ

“I love Jesus Christ.”

When was the last time that someone told you that? Have you ever told someone that? I was convicted of this when I read a recent post by John Piper. He discussed the impact of Christians using this radical and affectionate phrase. What power there is in the Church declaring her love for her husband! I know that I want to be counted among those who love Him and so I say to you - “I love Jesus Christ.”
