The Blog

The name for this blog is derived first from the very nature of this being a blog and thus it is composed primarily of text, hence the word “writ.” Second, the word “affectional” purposely refers to a deep love for God. The Creator of the universe calls for His creatures to love Him and this blog seeks to be filled with content which unashamedly declares a deep affection for the triune God.

The Author

My name is Micah James Lugg. I graduated from The Master’s College, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Bible Exposition. I grew up in Western Washington, graduating from Grace Adademy in 2004.

In 2008, the Lord moved me to Foothill Bible Church in Upland, CA, where I now serve as Director of Student Ministries. I am also attending The Master’s Seminary.

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and thus my life orbits around Him as the soul-satisfying center.
